Hey I'm Katie!
I am a photographer based in Kansas City. I specialize in equine photography. Chances are you probably met me where there are horses present. I am a young, new face to center ring equine photography (my passion), but I also work with kids, seniors, couples, families, and weddings! It is a dream of mine to travel all over the country for work to provide photographs for horse shows, events, and portraits. Some things about me...I grew a love for horses ever since I was young, my parents put me in lessons at a young age of 7 years old. A couple years later. I moved to English riding and started taking lessons at a barn in Lenexa, KS. From there I found myself showing in academy, working as an intern, and attained a job at the same barn. All those experiences played into growing my love for equine photography. However, I've had a love for photography ever since my father gifted me a camera for my 16th birthday. Later, I found myself as my high school yearbook editor-in-chief and then pursing photography in college. I'm so thankful for all those experiences. Chances are you are discovering me from seeing me take pictures of you, your child, your student, etc. center ring. I travel to horse shows big and small to capture the horse show life sometimes inside and sometimes outside of the ring! If you see me center ring, I am your official photographer at that horse show! Every person putting on a horse show has a job, this is mine. I take memorable pics of you, your kid, or horse and you purchase them here from my site under 'Horse Show Proofs.' I try to make my products on my site as affordable as possible, especially at smaller shows for families just getting introduced to the horse show life. The smaller more local shows to KC are some of my favorites... Why? I love getting to capture kiddos take their first few trips around the show ring.
